I’m sure you’ve most likely seen backpacks, kitchen towels, tumblers, shower curtains, fabric, pillows, clothing, and so much more with repeating designs on them - right? Well those repeating designs are seamless patterns. Seamless patterns are one of the most versatile and undervalued design pieces in small shops and in branding.
For me, that season began when I enrolled in Surface Design Immersion 2026 this past Spring with Bonnie Christine. At the time, I came into the course with years of seasoned graphic design experience. I knew I loved creating art. I loved flowers, vintage-inspired details, and illustrating designs that made people feel something. But I didn't yet know how all of those pieces fit together—or how to turn them into a body of work that truly felt like me.
